Scientists Trying To Bring Back The Woolly Mammoth

Woolly Mammoth

Apparently, Japanese Scientists are working very hard to bring an extinct creature back to life. They are working with the DNA of a 28,000 year old woolly mammoth in hopes of bringing the species back.

The scientists found the woolly mammoth remains in Siberia. They are now working to mix the DNA with mouse eggs and bring the animal back to life.

While a lot more research has to occur before they come back for real, the scientists are very eager because they already named the guy. Yes, the woolly mammoth's name is Yuka.

Let's just hope for the sake of all of us that Yuka is friendly. Guys, seriously, we are just one discovery away from a real life Jurassic Park!
