The inventor of Jelly Belly has a new business venture creating a line of CBD-infused jelly beans. David Klein invented Jelly Belly in 1976 and worked there until 1980.
He is now back to the drawing board coming up with a new line of jelly beans, those infused with CBD. His new company is called Spectrum Confections and features 38 different flavors of jelly beans.
Some of the flavors include toasted marshmallow, Pina Colada, strawberry cheesecake, cinnamon, spicy licorice, and mango. They also come in sugar free and sour varieties.
Each jelly bean has 10 ml in it. Klein says this allows for consumers to decide what their proper dose is. "If people want a small dose, they eat one. If they want 20 ml, they can eat two, and so on." -David Klein
The jelly beans do not include THC as of yet, but Klein hopes the product will "help the world".
