The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office held its annual Telecommunicators awards on Wednesday.

Four employees were honored, including those who take the very important 911 calls. Sheriff Ric Bradshaw hosted the awards.

"I think we ought to be honoring them everyday and not just one day because of the job that they do. It's very stressful. It's very busy, we did over a million calls for service last year. But if it doesn't start right there, it doesn't go right all the way along."
