Reporter Has No Idea He Has Filters On During Facebook Live Weather Update

Weather reports are usually pretty tame, but that's not always the case. Sometimes a meteorologist might get angry at the newscast's anchors, or angry at fans of The Bachelorette, or they might lose their head. But what made one update on a snowfall in Madison County, North Carolina so good was something News 13 reporter Justin Hinton had no idea was going on. Hinton was using Facebook Live to alert viewers of road conditions in the area, but what he didn't realize was that he had accidentally activated a filter generator before beginning his report.

As he spoke about snowfall, he went from wearing sunglasses and a hat, to a space helmet, to a purple mustache, to a wizard's beard and much more.

Justin was totally oblivious to what was happening. He later explained on Facebook that his photographer said "something about the screen having weird faces," but the cameraman didn't elaborate. It wasn't until Hinton reviewed the comments that he realized what was going on.

Justin is taking it in stride, saying in a follow-up post, "If you can't laugh at yourself, what's the point of laughter? I hope you enjoyed the snow day, and remember to smile and laugh!"
