Bands of showers and thunderstorms will start sweeping though our area as the storm moves towards the east coast of Florida. The highest chances of rain will come this afternoon.
The National Hurricane Center says that the depression could become a Tropical Storm sometime later today. If that happens, Arthur will be our first named storm of the season.
A Tropical Storm Watch is still in effect for the east coast of Florida from Fort Pierce northward to just south of Flagler Beach.
