The new sequel to "Thor" will no doubt lead the moneymakers at the box office, but there are other films out that you may want to consider.  Joel Malkin recently watched "Captain Phillips", and enjoyed it throughly.  Hap Erstein with brushes over that film and gives us his take on several others.

"Thor: The Dark World" - Chris Hemsworth is back as the Norse God, along with his love interest played again by Natalie Portman.  Anthony Hopkins is also back as Thor's father, though it's not a big role.  Hap says this one steps down a few notches from the first one.

"All is Lost" - This is what you get when you cast Robert Redford by himself, similar to Tom Hanks in "Castaway", but this time he is the only one in the entire movie.

"About Time" - From the folks who brougth you "Love Actually" and "Notting Hill" comes another British romantic comedy, though not everyone is British.  Rachel McAdams stars in this one that makes you question whether you would change things if you could go back in time in your personal life.
