The search continues for a place where the Houston Astros and Toronto Blue Jays can call home, at least during the Springtime.

After a Palm Beach Gardens site fell through due to neighbors' concerns, Palm Beach County officials met yesterday to talk about alternative sites for a major league spring training facility.

According to the Palm Beach Post, three alternative sites include the old Palm Beach Jai a' lai fronton on 45th street, a strip of land along Military Trail, just south of 45th street and an area near the train station in downtown West Palm Beach.

County Commissioner Hal Valeche says they will cast a "wide net", including asking officials in St. Lucie County to see if they're interested in hosting the teams, because he believes the main objective is to keep baseball spring training in Southeast Florida.
